I International Stanislav Neuhaus Piano Competition
I International Stanislav Neuhaus Piano Competition was held in Chelyabinsk on April 3-10, 2007 and devoted to the 80-th birthday of the great pianist.

Place of the Competition: Sergey Prokofiev Concert Hall of the Chelyabinsk State Philharmonic Society.
The Jury of the Competition was headed by Vladimir Krainev (Russia), a student of Stanislav Neuhaus, Prize Winner (the first prize) of the P. P. Tchaikovsky International Competition, People’s Artist of the USSR, Laureate of State Prize of the USSR, Professor of the Moscow State Conservatoire and of Theatre and Music High School in Hannover (Germany).

Jury members are:
• Monique Duphil (USA) – Professor of the Oberlin Conservatory; 
• Ivan Gajan (Slovakia) – Professor of the Bratislava Conservatoire, a student of Stanislav Neuhaus; 
• Leonid Gakkel (Russia) – Professor of the Saint Petersburg State Conservatoire; 
• Bernd Goetzke (Germany) – Professor of the High School of Music and Theatre in Hannover (Germany); 
• Evgeni Levitan (Russia) - Head of the Special Piano Chair of the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts, Professor, a student of Stanislav Neuhaus; 
• Ursula Seiler (Germany) – President of “Seiler” Musical Instruments Production Firm; 
• Vladimir Tropp (Russia) - Head of the Special Piano Chair of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, Professor. 
The Competition was held in “Piano solo” nomination in two age groups: Group A (under the age of 18) and Group B (under the age of 36). The Organizing Committee received 66 applications for participating from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Taiwan, Belarus, Japan, China, Korea, Malaysia.
